History
De Harmonie Hotel, Giethoorn in the 1950's
Hotel De Harmonie in Giethoorn, is the longest established lodging facility in Giethoorn. The first wooden structure here was built more than 150 years ago.
That building was destroyed by fire, the then owners rebuilt and part of the current main building dates from the 1930's.
We continue that hospitality tradition today by hosting guests from around the world in the hotel and restaurant.

Your hostsJan and Kathinka Beenen started De Harmonie Hotel in Giethoorn in 1997. For 25 years we have been welcoming guests from all over the world to our hotel and the historic village of Giethoorn.

Our SurroundingsThe historic village of Giethoorn was settled more than 850 years ago. The old farmhouses have been converted to beautiful homes and villas with prize-winning gardens.
We are in the midst of National Park Weeribben-Wieden and are in one of the most picturesque locations in all of The Netherlands. |
RestaurantGuests can enjoy our breakfast buffet. We are also open to the public for lunch and dinner. Our menu features regional farm-to-table items as well as popular favorites.
